You know what they say about our lovely planet; it’s a small world. That sentiment gets even stronger in a small town. Living in a small town gives you plenty of opportunities to meet all sorts of people, time and time again. However, it wasn’t until a few months ago that I met the talented and delightful, Marci Goulart, of Marci Goulart Interior Design. I’ve been shooting Marci’s projects ever since we met and that’s really fun because it turns out that we’ve both owned the same house (obviously at separate times) AND she lives directly across the street from me now! Like I said, it’s a SMALL world.
This kitchen is one of Marci’s most recent completed projects. She took a poorly designed kitchen and dining nook and turned it into an open, light, and usable space. Adding a beautiful built-in next to the breakfast nook added plenty of cabinet space and allowed for more counter space in the kitchen. She used beautiful custom green tile on the backslash and green pendants above the eating bar to complement each other. The entire space flows so well and looks beautiful both on and off camera.
