My wonderful client/neighbor/friend, Marci, of Marci Goulart Interior Design, recently completed a gorgeous, light-filled master bedroom and bathroom remodel and I’m in LOVE. Her clients live on a vineyard in a craftsman style home that was built in 1918. The master suite may have had a few updates over time, but the dark and outdated space (and it’s inhabitants) were aching for a change. Using elements and materials that reflected the home’s original design, Marci was able to create a serene master retreat that suits the home perfectly, while bringing new light (literally) to each space.
One of the biggest and most impactful designs of the master bathroom is a large arched window taking up almost all of the back wall of the bathroom. Marci mirrored the bathroom window from a downstairs window on the same side of the home. It looks beautiful from the inside and the outside.
