I don’t typically shoot events but when I was approached by one of the board members of the Chico Children’s Museum to help shoot their gala, I was honored and I accepted. The night was magical. There was entertainment, dancing, a glowing ball pit (for adults), dinner catered by the amazing Ann Leon of Leon bistro, and an adorable performance of Tom Petty’s, Learning to Fly by the children of the Chico Boys and Girls Club.
The museum is scheduled to open its doors in 2018 and I’m personally really looking forward to having such a wonderful place to take my own children. According to their website, the museum’s mission ” is to cultivate a lifelong love of learning through hands-on, minds-on experiences that celebrate curiosity, connect families and promote a sense of unity within our community.” Can’t wait!
